Welcome to the website of The American Freedom Movement. It is our belief that the United States Constitution and the Bill Of Rights are the most powerful words ever written. Thousands of Patriots have, and will continue to die for the very thing that these documents represent. Freedom! The U.S. Constitution clearly outlines how our "government of the people" should operate, therefore, it is our position that our government must conduct our business in the same manner as the founding fathers had envisioned that statesmen should. If Ron Paul becomes president, he will need a new Congress to be effective. If he doesn't make it, he needs a new Congress to be effective as a Congressman, just the same. In a new Congress, he will be the "go to" man on everything from procedure to advice on the constitutionality of proposed laws. He will be Speaker of the House, or if a Democrat majority should "win" as a result of our efforts, he will still be the single most respected and experienced member of Congress, regardless of his party afiliation. There is only one way for us to give him this new Congress - and that is to simply and unceremoniously fire the old one! There are millions of American citizens ready to take back the government from the crooked politicians and special interest groups that bribe them. Millions of Americans are joining FREEDOM and LIBERTY Movements throughout the country, including many Ron Paul Meetup Groups in their local areas. To be effective, however, a new strategy is needed. Like the Ron Paul Meetups, activists and volunteers in every city, county and congressional distrct are encouraged to join or form an individual 'FIRE CONGRESS" Congressional District Meetup groups like the FIRE CONGRESS NY 2OTH CONGRESSIONAL MEETUP.
